Ботев Пловдив ще закрие втория и третия си отбор, които се състезаваха, съответно във Втора и Трета лига.
Футболистите от двата отбора са били уведомени да си търсят нови клубове и договорите няма да им бъдат подновени.

Представител на Антон Зингаревич е дал да се разбере, че заради финансовата стагнация, Ботев вече не може да издържа три отбора. Според запознати със ситуацията обаче е възможно вместо юношите на „жълто-черните“ в Пловдив да бъдат доведени футболисти от Африка, които да се готвят под някаква форма и евентуално да бъдат налагани в първия тим, а впоследствие продавани на други клубове.

Припомняме, че вторият и третият тим на „жълто-черните“ се представиха ужасяващо през този сезон. И двата отбора изпаднаха от Втора и Трета ли-га. Дублиращият състав завърши на 18-о място във Втория лига с 25 загуби и 70 инкасирани гола. Третият тим пък приключи на 19-а позиция в Югоизточната трета лига на 19-о място, без шанс да мине над чертата на изпадащите.
