Нещо уникално се случи тази вечер за българския волейбол! Точно година след като националният отбор на България за девойки до 18 години стана европейски шампион, същият тим стана и световен шампион, но за девойки до 19 години на Мондиала в Хърватия и Сърбия.

Момичетата на селекционера Атанас Петров направиха страхотен обрат и надиграха вече бившия шампион в тази възраст САЩ с 3:1 (21:25, 25:16, 25:17, 29:27) в големия финал на първенството, игран тази вечер в залата в Осиек.
